In 2013, I got frustrated with the lack of realism in most commercially available turkey calls. I sat in my shop trying to make a "store bought" pot call sound like a turkey, and realized I could build one myself.
I designed and machined my first pot a few days later, out of left over aluminum, and glued it up using scavenged materials from the shop. The sound of my first call was horrendous, and it was a very sobering moment, as I assumed it was easy to build a call.
Not being one to settle, I kept on the path. The next few years were full of highs and lows in my call building journey, with the lows being far more common. Jonas Salk once said, "There is no such thing as failure, there's just giving up too soon".
I spent a few years designing and building parts for a handful of other call makers, which was great because I was able to shake hands with some truly great people and forge relationships that I truly appreciate.
After serious consideration, I decided to dedicate my passion to building the best turkey call that money could buy, from my own company.
As a very serious hunter, I realize that we are very reliant on the equipment that we choose to take afield, and it must be the best, no matter the conditions. We aren't blessed with an infinite number of perfect mornings in the turkey woods, and we must take full advantage of each and every hunt, and each and every opportunity to make memories.
Thank you for visiting my site, and please take a few minutes to read up on our offerings, and don't be afraid to reach out with any questions.
Countless hours have went into the development of each of our calls, and the results will speak for themselves. I have built literally hundreds of different pots, chasing the sound and never settling for anything other than perfection.
We use premium quality materials in everything we do, because we want our calls to hunt just as hard as you do.
Our aluminum pots allow us to create shapes and geometries that are impossible with traditional wood pots. Aluminum does not move with humidity, so our calls run the same no matter the weather.
Modern CNC machines and high performance tooling/toolpaths have made these pots affordable to everyone. We hope once you take an Alloy Calls call to the woods, you will find what you have been missing in your vest.
Thank you for spending your time looking at the products that are so near and dear to my heart. I am very grateful to anyone that spends their hard earned money on something I designed and created.
